DR.ERDAL TORUN

Vice President

Erdal Torun graduated from Turkish Military Academy in 1981 and received Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from Boğaziçi University in 1984. He completed his MSc & Ph. D. in 1986 and 1997, respectively. He has worked in Turkish Military Academy as lecturer, served as project coordinator/manager in Ministry of National Defence and Turkish Land Forces Command between years 1986-2009. In this period, he worked for Communication Research Center (CRC, Ottawa) and BWB Stinger Program Office (Germany) in 1994/1995, and 2004, respectively. Erdal Torun was appointed as Head of Technical Services Department at Ministry of National Defence in 2009. He became brigadier general in 2012 and has worked as Head of Technical and Project Management Department at Turkish Land Forces Command until he retired in 2016. Dr. Torun joined Meteksan Defence in 2018, and beginning of 2019 he appointed as Vice President.
